GARDEN  PLANTS

The plants offered for sale are grown in limited quantities and include grasses, trailing plants,  flowering plants. 
Examples:  Scilla, Tradescantia, Sempervivum  Post & Postage will be charged at cost.

JUNCUS SPIRALIS                                  £4.00
A beautiful dwarf grass. Likes damp locations, but it can be grown in containers or anywhere in your garden.
Good for flower arranging!

LAMPRANTHUS ROSEUM                       £2.00
This is the familiar Livingstone Daisy ,splendid plant with a spreading habit and covered with rose-purple, red, orange, yellow or pure white flowers from spring to late autumn.

HOUSE  PLANTS

ASPARAGUS SPRENGERI (ASPARAGUS FERN)                £1.50
An easy plant to grow because it adapts to wide variations in light, heat and frequency of watering.  It does not demand a humid atmosphere.
For maximum effect  make sure that the arching branches are not impeded by other plants.  Lovely in hanging baskets!

BEGONIA ARGENTEO-GUTTATA (TROUT BEGONIA)       £3.00
Belongs to the Cane Stem family  which are the giants of the group and can reach 6 ft. or more, but they can be cut back in spring to maintain a bushy habit.
Avoid hot dry days, really cold nights, too much water and too much sun.

CTENANTHE COMPRESSA                                              £4.00
From the Maranta (Prayer Plant) family comes this plant grown for its spectacular foliage. 
Requirements: protect it from the direct rays of sun and cold draughts; it needs high air humidity and warmth in winter.
Spikes of yellowish-green flowers are produced irregularly  throughout the year.

TRADESCANTIA SPATHACEA (MOSES-IN-THE-CRADLE or THREE-MEN-IN-A-BOAT)                                                        £2.50
Clump forming perennial with rosettes of semi erect,
lance shaped fleshy leaves, dark green above and
purple beneath.
Water moderately and apply a balanced fertilizer every 4 weeks; water sparingly in winter.  Bright light is essential.
